INPAS POS Master

INPAS POS Master is designed to administrate the POS terminal network of the acquirer bank.

Having a unique functionality INPAS POS Master allows the bank's current business tasks to be handled with utmost efficiency. INPAS POS Master offered by INPAS provides ample opportunities for flexible POS terminal adjustment in acquiring networks.

INPAS POS Master consists of three basic components: POS Master Station, POS Master Server and Net Client.

The INPAS POS Master Station software makes it possible to prepare configuration parameters for further local upload to the POS terminal. Configuration parameters are stored in the Oracle, MS Access or MS SQL databases.

The Net Client Software is installed directly onto the POS terminal and support data upload to it. Different channels (TCP/IP, PPP/IP, Dial-up, RS-232, GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi) are used to upload data to the POS terminal.

Ample data upload opportunities provided by INPAS POS Master make it possible to remotely upload executive modules, parameters and stop lists together or separately to the POS terminals to maximally reduce the time of connection with the POS terminal. In case of disconnection data upload resumes from the point of disconnection. That allows using INPAS POS Master in conditions of unstable connection.

Aside from uploading executive modules developed by INPAS to the POS terminal INPAS POS Master allows uploading executive modules developed by other companies to the terminal. That provides the bank with the opportunity to accept cards from different payment systems on a single terminal and makes possible the organization of different partner programs.

POS Master meets banks business process schemes of acquiring management and allow to organize centralized or decentralized network administration.

In the process of developing new release of INPAS POS Master special attention was paid to security problems.

Because of higher requirements to data confidentiality of international payment systems specialized modules were introduced to INPAS POS Master that prevent unsanctioned access to information even at the stage of remote uploading. INPAS POS Master secures data confidentiality at the stage of storing information as well. Standard means of the database management systems Oracle, MS SQL, MS Access that provide limited access are used for that purpose. That provides the bank's security service with the opportunity to efficiently handle the question of delimitation of authority between the personnel and exercise control over their actions.

Key management functionality is provided by Special Kit and KetLoader products family. These solutions are fully complied with security requirements and allow effectively organize secure key loading process according to bank business scheme (centralized or with delegating key loading functions to filial branches or bank agents).
