The OMNIPOS_EMV software is designed for servicing international magnetic strip cards, international smart cards and combined international cards made in accordance with the EMVCo 4.1 specification and modifications to it. Level II certified OMNIPOS_EMV software is capable of servicing smart plastic cards with VSDC and MChip applications.

The OMNIPOS_EMV software supports all financial operations required by acquirer banks. The parameter structure is created in order to enable the bank's specialists to manually define the order of operations depending on the card. That allows the terminal's software to be adjusted to meet the bank's business requirements.

Aside from financial operations the OMNIPOS_EMV software supports a broad range of administrative operations, such as:

• Result verification;
• Connection verification and key loading;
• Cashier registration for restricted access organizations;
• Statistics.

The OMNIPOS_EMV software is capable of formatting financial reports of different types. The OMNIPOS_EMV software uses RS232, Ethernet, GSM/GPRS, Dial-up (on-board and external modem), WiFi channels for data transfer. The support of different data transfer channels makes the organization of a POS terminal network more flexible.

The OMNIPOS_EMV software operation is determined by configuration parameters: list of accepted cards; list of available financial and administrative operations; forms of financial reports; messages displayed on the screen and printed messages; parameters affecting the order of servicing magnetic strip and smart cards; parameters affecting the order of performing administrative and financial operations. Preparation and installation of parameters on the POS terminal may be performed by means via INPAS POS Master locally and remotely.
